Catharsis: Emotional Dualities

An abstract visual exploration of emotional transformation inspired by Aristotle's theory of catharsis.

The series treats emotion as a field of tension rather than a fixed state. Each work stages opposing forces—hope and fear, joy and grief, love and loss, order and chaos—not as contradictions to be solved, but as conditions that coexist. Through rupture, balance, darkness, light and geometric interruption, the works frame catharsis as recognition, confrontation and transformation.

Symbiotic Futures

A conceptual series examining the philosophical space between human consciousness and artificial intelligence.

These works consider coexistence not as technological submission or triumph, but as an unstable negotiation between biological memory, machine logic and shared systems of meaning. Recurring circles, thresholds, vertical structures and fragmented surfaces evoke connection, regeneration and coexistence as evolving rather than completed states.

Anthropocene Bloom

Anthropocene Bloom explores the fragile balance between natural systems and human intervention. Through layered abstraction, geological textures and organic forms, the series reflects on a planet constantly reshaped by growth, extraction, collapse and renewal.

Rather than depicting environmental narratives directly, the works evoke landscapes in transition—spaces where erosion, regeneration, memory and resilience coexist.
Artist Statement

About the Practice

My practice exists at the intersection of contemporary art, philosophy, academic research and emerging technologies.

Working across digital image, sound and conceptual inquiry, I develop research-driven projects that investigate the emotional landscapes created by intelligent systems. Inspired by Aristotle's concept of Catharsis, my work explores emotional dualities—fear and hope, silence and noise, order and chaos—as contemporary conditions shaped by technological change.

Rather than producing isolated artworks, I develop interconnected research-led projects examining how humanity negotiates identity, memory and meaning in the age of artificial intelligence.
